Due Tues. Dec.6

Today, we came into class and sat down immediately. Next, after everybody sat down we started to correct Raquel's blog. She only had a couple of errors. After we were finished correcting her blog, she chose me. Thanks Raquel. :)

Next, Ms. Nakada walked over to the chart of NaNoWriMo to call out people's name, and see if they had finished their word count goal. Congratulations to all the people that have reached the goal! The next thing that the class was ordered to do was to, take out our English notebooks. The students wrote down in their notebook their new English scores. All the students were shocked to hear about all the big assignments coming up, especially our FINAL EXAM! Ms. Nakada said we also have to get our AR to 100%.

Later, Ms. Nakada asked for some help, so student could pass out portfolios. Thank you Jeremy, Evelyn, Jacob, and Duc for passing out portfolios and papers. After they finished passing papers out, they room started to thunder with talking. Everyone started to look at their scores, and talk about them to their seat neighbors. Kevin kept asking Ms. Nakada who had the highest scores on certain assignments. As I had turned around to see what the class was doing, Fatima gave me a nice smile and wave.

After, Ms. Nakada passed out NaNoWriMo reflection papers. The room was loud from everyone's conversations. When Ms.Nakada told everyone to get to their work, the room became silent. The classroom was so silent, you could hear the tips of student's pencils writing on their papers. The room was silent until Jeremy said, "Bet money!" out loud for the whole class to hear. I assumed he was trying to prove one of his neighbors were wrong, and he was right. Nick asked a question to Ms. Nakada, saying if students next year decide not to do NaNoWriMo, what will happen? Ms.Nakada made a funny joke saying that, that class grades will suffer. The room fell silent again. The class was still writing their reflections. The bell rang for nutrition, and Ms. Nakada dismissed the class.
