Intro To The Outsiders Essays
HW: 10.1 15 To 20 Pages Of Your Book
We started class by changing seats and there was a lot of groaning. Bailei read her blog, and we found out Michael burned Bailei's finger. After that, she picked me to do the blog. We corrected Bailei's blog and did the week's quote and question. We saw on the projector some of Salvador Dali's paintings. Max, being the memer his is, is saying a lot of memes.
This week's question was, "Is it offensive for sports teams to use Native Americans as mascots?" That is to me, a tad racist. Ms. Nakada showed us some sport team mascots and some were racist, especially the Cleveland Indians.
Ms. Nakada passed out song lyrics to our class called, "Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts" by The Gaslight Anthem. That's when we started to talk about tones in literature and lyrics. Ms. Nakada played the audio version of the song, and it sounds like something that my sister would listen to during our bus ride home. Erin asked if Ms. Nakada was crying to this song, which the answer was naw m8. The class made annotations to the lyrics of this song. Through this, the class was so noisy and disruptive. It took forever to get through the lyrics. Class is about to end, so I'll end it off here, bye.
