So, sixth period started like usual, and Tyray reads his blog. Nancy, Bailei, and Erin were saying that I haven't done my fourth blog yet so Tyray could choose me. After that, Ms. Nakada asked the students to take out English notebooks for Q&Q. "This above all-to thine own self be true" Hamlet by Shakespeare, Ms. Nakada was saying that Hamlet was much like the movie The Lion King, because Simba was much like the son that was soon to be king and Scar was like the uncle who was planing on killing the king and when he does kill the king he ends up marrying the wife. Next, Ms. Nakada asked everyone to take out their poetry packs because we were adding four more pages on. When Ms. Nakada was done passing out the papers she readss the poem "The Laughing Heart". Then, she showed everyone a Get Lit video of the poem and after reads another poem called "A Song In The Front Yard". Then, the class starts descussing what they think the poem is about. Then, I heard Erin say "can we watch another video" which we were going to already but how was she supposed to know. We discussed our poems with our groups for the poetry slam. The bell is about to ring. Bye.
