20 poem draft!

The class started out normal. Jason read his blog and chose me to type the next one. Ms. Nakada asked the class if they knew any California stereotypes. She then told the class to write a poem about California, the students took out there supplies to write the poem, the volume of the class dropped but it was still some kids talking. Five minutes later Ms. Nakada asked the class if they wrote any poems but the students wasn't ready to share. While my classmates were writing the poem, they got louder and Ms. Nakada had to quiet them down. Max shared his poem and it was cool. Ms. Nakada read a poem titled "It's Not Your Job" then, she read the response poem she wrote about her daughter which was also cool. The class had to write a response too. While they did, all I heard was pencils and pens tapping on the table and little whispers. I looked around the class and every looked like they were thinking about what to write. No one wanted to share what they wrote, so Ms. Nakada moved on and told them to take out their NaPoWriMo Points sheet. She then started to talk about a poetry slam at a theater in downtown. The bell just rung and it's time to go, Peace.
